USAR Foundation

What We Do

The USAR Foundation is a non-profit organization which functions to support search and rescue through education, training, certification and deployment.  The USAR Foundation provides trained K9 and handler teams for the search and rescue of victims of disaster through the TN Task Force 1 FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Team. We operate in any and all conditions- on land, in water, and in urban and wilderness environments.

You Can Help

Your generous donation makes our work possible. Funds are used to pay Adoption Fees for rescued dogs, Food and Veterinary Care for our Team K9s, Deployment gear & supplies to keep us safe, and ongoing Education and Training opportunities.

Your Support

What your generous gift helps provide:

Recruit more dogs from shelters and breed rescues around the country.

Train more dogs to become rescuers alongside their handlers.

Support our existing K9 Search and Rescue Teams  with ongoing education and training so we remain ready to respond at a moment’s notice when disaster strikes.

Provide everyday care and ongoing health care for our K9's throughout their career.
